Will Ferrell
Will Ferrell
became famous as an actor on the show
'Saturday Night Live'. He then starred in a variety of big-screen comedies,
like Elf and' Anchorman' and ‘Talladega Nights. Will Ferrell was raised in
Irvine, California in 1967. His career in comedy began as an Groundlings group
member. The seven-year time as a Saturday Night Live cast member helped him
become one of the most famous comedians in the film industry. He became known
for off-color hits like Anchorman The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004) and Old
School (2003). Ferrell cofounded the well-known video streaming service Funny
or Die. He is also a highly successful voice actor for animated films like
Megamind (2010). John William Ferrell was conceived in Irvine, California on July
16, 1967. The oldest son of Righteous Brothers keyboardist Lee Ferrell and
teacher Kay Ferrell, Will was--by his own admission--hardly the class clown
when he was a student at University High School. Ferrell was quiet and
studious, chose to be a part of football, where he set a school-record for the
most made field goals. Even in the more comfortable surroundings of his
suburban residence, Ferrell displayed little of the outrageous, humorous bursts
that would later to define his career.
