 Jimmy Donaldson, also known as MrBeast (born May 7, 1998), is an American YouTube star and businessman. The YouTube personality is known for creating the YouTube video style that focuses on extravagant stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson began posting videos to YouTube in the early months of 2012 at 13 years old under the name "MrBeast6000" and his initial videos ranged from "Let's Plays" to "videos which estimated the wealth of other YouTubers." After his 2017 "Counting to 100,000" video garnered tens of thousands of views in a matter of days, Donaldson was a YouTube sensation. His first content consisted of Let's Plays and videos which predicted the amount of money other YouTubers have. Donaldson employed a number of his former classmates as his assistants for his expanding channel. MrBeast was the primary YouTube channel of Donaldson and had 60 subscribers.
